On October 23, Mrs. Zygmunta Jasieniecka, a resident of Golub-Dobrzyń, celebrated her 100th birthday. She is known for her cheerfulness, kindness, and love of gardening. The jubilarian was visited by Paweł Zgórzyński, member of the regional assembly, who presented her with the Marshal’s Unitas Durat Palatinatus Cuiaviano-Pomeraniensis medal.

– May the kindness you share with others return to you multiplied in the care, warmth, and attention of your loved ones. May each day bring joy, love, and support, – said Marshal Piotr Całbecki in his congratulatory message.

Mrs. Jasieniecka was born on October 23, 1925, into a farming family as the daughter of Marianna and Zygmunt Chmielewski. She grew up with five siblings – one sister and four brothers.

She worked as a shop assistant, known for her diligence and friendliness. She married Józef Jasieniecki, with whom she shared many happy years. The couple settled in Golub-Dobrzyń, where she has lived her entire life. She raised two daughters and is the proud grandmother of five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Her lifelong passion has been her garden – a place of peace and joy. She has always loved tending flowers, watering plants, and caring for her green corner. She still looks after her houseplants and enjoys spending time outdoors. She also likes reading newspapers and magazines, keeping up with current events and interesting stories from around the world.

Mrs. Jasieniecka remains the heart of her family, always offering support, wisdom, and encouragement. Her optimism, kindness, and life experience are an inspiration to younger generations.

The birthday celebration was also attended by Dominika Piotrowska, the Mayor of Golub-Dobrzyń, who congratulated the jubilarian and wished her many more years of health and happiness.

Since 2018, the regional government has been honoring residents of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship who reach the age of 100.
