A Grand Summary of the 2025 Cycling Season in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship at Toruń’s Motoarena
Today (October 16), a ceremonial summary of the 2025 cycling season in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship is taking place at Toruń’s Motoarena. During the event, awards and distinctions were presented to the region’s best athletes, and young cyclists from local training schools showcased their skills on the track in exhibition races.
“I’m proud that our region has so many talented young athletes. Thank you for a wonderful season, your dedication, and your hard work,” emphasized Marshal Piotr Całbecki.
Kujawsko-Pomorskie Cycling Schools – Promoting Sports Among Children and Youth
The program “Kuyavian-Pomeranian Cycling Schools,” implemented by the Marshal’s Office, aims to promote and develop cycling among children and youth in the region. Since 2014, the voivodeship government has consistently supported the training and development of young cycling talents.
As part of the program, additional training sessions are organized in gyms and fitness halls, as well as in outdoor settings – both on the road and off-road.
Currently, 31 cycling schools operate across the region, training around 510 boys and girls aged 11 to 15.
Record-Breaking 2025 Season
The 2025 season proved to be record-breaking in terms of the young cyclists’ achievements. At the Polish Championships of Cycling Schools in Raszków, representatives from the region won three gold and one silver medal in the youth and pupil categories. In December, they will face another challenge – the Polish Track Cycling Championships for Schools in Pruszków.

Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship – A Leader in Developing Cycling Talent
The 2025 season confirmed that the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship remains one of the strongest centers for young cyclists’ training in Poland, steadily strengthening its position on the national and international cycling map.
In the coming months, a new initiative – “Kujawy Pomorze Team” – will be launched to promote the voivodeship through key sports disciplines: cycling, rowing, canoeing, and athletics.
