Wonders of Poland 2025: Brzózki in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region
We now know the winners of the Wonders of Poland 2025 poll organized by National Geographic. Among the 16 most beautiful places in the country is the village of Brzózki in Nakło County.
“The Mill Island and the palace complex in Ostromecko – distinguished in previous editions of this poll – are truly stunning. This year, Brzózki has been added to the list of exceptional places – an extraordinary village full of colorful murals inspired by Van Gogh’s art. Thank you for all the votes cast and I invite everyone to visit Brzózki and discover other treasures of Kujawy and Pomorze – our region never ceases to surprise,” said Marshal Piotr Całbecki.
Brzózki is a village that has become a true open-air gallery. Its space is decorated with murals inspired by the works of Vincent van Gogh, as well as sculptures and roadside shrines created with great passion by local residents. As a result, the village attracts both tourists and artists.
In this year’s poll, Lubostroń Palace and Golub-Dobrzyń Castle were also nominated—sites that have delighted visitors for years and promote the cultural heritage of Kujawy and Pomorze.
A total of 48 exceptional locations from across Poland competed in the Wonders of Poland 2025 contest—three from each province. Ultimately, 16 wonders were selected to best represent the beauty and diversity of our country.
