Hospital in Włocławek: the investment is progressing according to plan

Construction crews are carrying out intensive work on the site of the new main building of the Provincial Specialist Hospital in Włocławek. According to the schedule, masonry, installation, and finishing works are progressing, as well as work related to the construction of the slab for the future helipad for medical helicopters. Completion of the investment is planned for spring 2027.

The new five-story main building of the Włocławek hospital – the future heart of the facility – will house the admissions department and emergency ward, the main operating suite, delivery suite, intensive care unit, inpatient wards, an endoscopy unit, as well as the hospital pharmacy and sterilization unit. In line with current standards, it will also be equipped with a helipad platform for air ambulance helicopters.

At present, construction crews are carrying out masonry, finishing, and installation work, including the assembly of lightweight partition walls, plastering, flooring, façade work (including installation of glass elements), plumbing and hydrant systems, as well as ceiling reinforcements for the installation of medical equipment.

At the same time, renovation work is underway at the hospital’s psychiatric outpatient clinic. The hospital’s management expects this investment to be completed in October.

Final preparations are also being made for the purchase of a surgical robot. This spring, surgeons, gynecologists, and urologists in Włocławek tested several models of such equipment.
