A weekend in culture
Shiny carriages, elegant coachmen, and beautiful horses attract large audiences every year at the horse-drawn carriage competitions, organized for three decades by the Lubostroń Palace. The Marshal’s cultural institution invites you to the twenty-ninth edition of this event.
On Sunday (August 24th), the palace courtyard will host a display and evaluation of historic horse-drawn carriages, and in the park, a sports carriage driving competition will be held. The program also includes an exhibition of works by artists from the Inowrocław Artists’ House, a concert by the Youth Wind Orchestra “Kujawia” from Bydgoszcz, and a stunt show.
The Chopin Center in Szafarnia invites classical music lovers to another concert of the “Holidays with Chopin” series. On Sunday (August 24th), talented young pianist Weronika Chodakowska will perform polonaises, waltzes, and mazurkas by the great composer.
Blues lovers can head to the 15th Blues in the World Festival on Friday and Saturday (August 22 and 23), featuring artists including Krzysztof Cugowski, Eric Gales, Blues Against the Machine, and Big Blues Orchestra. The main partner of the event is the regional government.
