Current EFKP competitions

Our regional program, European Funds for Kujawsko-Pomorskie, currently has 32 active calls for proposals for project funding and non-competitive calls. Among those launched in August is a call for grants for the construction and modernization of heating systems with a budget of PLN 105.5 million.

The satisfactory level of progress in implementing our operational program is due not only to the efficient handling of this matter by departments in the Marshal’s Office and intermediary institutions, but also—and perhaps primarily—to the program’s beneficiaries,” emphasizes Marshal Piotr Całbecki.

Local governments, housing cooperatives and communities, social housing associations, and businesses can apply for funding for the modernization of systems supplying heat to public and multi-family buildings under the EFKP call for proposals, which launched in early August. The aim of the intervention is primarily to replace inefficient, air-polluting installations with efficient low-emission installations. Funding is available at up to 85%.

Application deadline: September 15th, results in February.

PLN 15 million is the budget for the competition for funds for the replacement and modernization of heat sources in heating networks of multi-family homes and public buildings in areas covered by the Integrated Territorial Investments (IIT) instrument (functional areas of Bydgoszcz, Toruń, Włocławek, Grudziądz, and Inowrocław). Replacing older heat sources, primarily outdated boilers, with modern and possibly low-emission ones, is a step towards cleaner air. In addition to local governments, housing communities, and others can apply for funding from this pool. Grants are available for up to 85% of the project value.

Application deadline: August 29th.

Local governments, local government institutions, and non-governmental organizations that decide to create and subsequently operate training apartments, assisted living facilities, or those that combine social services can apply for funding of up to 95% of the investment costs. The funds can be used for construction, retrofitting, and equipping facilities to meet these needs. The funding competition has a budget of nearly PLN 31 million.

The deadline for applications is October 31st.

Public healthcare facilities and other entities planning to organize or develop home-based, outpatient, and community-based geriatric and psychogeriatric care, as well as home-based long-term and palliative care, can also apply for very high funding – up to 85% of the committed funds. The funds can be used to purchase medical equipment and devices, necessary construction work, as well as IT solutions and tools (telemedicine, call systems, remote medical monitoring systems). The funding competition has a budget of over PLN 4 million.

The deadline for applications is August 29th. Details

PLN 38 million – this is the pool of funds available in the competition for co-financing projects aimed at developing sustainable urban and suburban public transport in the functional areas of the five largest cities in the region – Bydgoszcz, Toruń, Włocławek, Grudziądz, and Inowrocław – which, together with their municipalities, constitute areas covered by the Integrated Territorial Investments (ITI) mechanism. Municipal governments are primarily eligible to apply for the grants. The funds can be allocated, among other things, to the construction of infrastructure (including the tram network, stops, transfer hubs, and electric vehicle charging points) and the purchase of rolling stock (trams and buses). The maximum subsidy is also 85% of the investment costs.

The application deadline is August 21st.

Even more – PLN 93 million – is being allocated through the competition for EFKP funds for the development of extra-urban passenger transport. These funds will be used to finance, among other things, projects such as: Bus purchases, the construction of transfer platforms and pedestrian bridges, the operation of local ticket payment integration systems (local common ticket), and the creation of zero-emission vehicle charging infrastructure.

Applications may be submitted by local governments, public transport operators and organizers, and businesses.

The application deadline is August 29th, with results in January.
