The inaugural journey of the ‘Borsuk’ train is now behind us. It runs daily throughout the summer holidays, offering a comfortable journey from Toruń through the picturesque Bory Tucholskie and Wdecki Landscape Park to Czersk in the Pomeranian Province, stopping at stations in Tleń and Osie, among others.

Air conditioning, internet, comfort and good company! Cheaper and faster than by car or even bus, with no traffic jams along the way. I think our holiday rail offer is a real hit!’ encourages Marshal Piotr Całbecki.

Among the passengers on the first holiday route of the ‘Borsuk’ were MP Iwona Karolewska, Świecie County Administrator Paweł Knapik, Dragacz Commune Administrator Dorota Krezymon and Jeżewo Commune Administrator Maciej Rakowicz, as well as a group of residents of Grzybno from the Unisław commune. In Tleń, the travellers were welcomed by regional councillor Tadeusz Pogoda and Osia mayor Michał Grabski.

The seasonal weekend direct train ‘Rybitwa’ from Toruń to Kołobrzeg has also returned to the timetable.

Thanks to the cooperation between our region and Greater Poland and West Pomerania, we have launched the ‘Barnim’ train between Bydgoszcz and Szczecin. This new connection, which runs daily and all year round, is already enjoying great interest and increasing passenger numbers.
