Kujawsko-Pomorskie Constellations of Good Places Shine at Full Brightness

The Kujawsko-Pomorskie Tourist Organization, together with its partners, is showcasing the region’s cultural, culinary, and tourism wealth at two prestigious international events. In the capitals of Germany and the Czech Republic — Berlin and Prague — Kujawsko-Pomorskie presents itself as a modern, open region, full of places waiting to be discovered.

Thanks to its participation in an international diplomatic gathering and a large family picnic, the region gains yet another opportunity to build recognition and a positive image abroad. All of this reflects the spirit of Constellations of Good Places — an idea that connects people, places, and unique experiences.

“For years, Kujawsko-Pomorskie has been consistently building its brand as an open, creative, and passionate region. Through Constellations of Good Places, we not only invite visitors but also create an emotional map of Poland — with its heart beating right here in our region,” emphasizes Marshal Piotr Całbecki.

“Our presence in Berlin and Prague is another important step in the international promotion of Kujawsko-Pomorskie. We are showing that we are ready — as an integrated tourism community, aware of our strengths and the richness of the region — to confidently step onto the international stage. Over the years, we have consistently built the potential of the Constellations of Good Places through local cooperation, authenticity, and quality. Today, we proudly present these values internationally, gaining new contacts, partnerships, and inspirations. External promotion is for us a natural stage — not a one-time activity but a long-term process based on trust, experience, and a shared vision of a region open to the world,” says Beata Sawińska, President of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Tourist Organization.

June 13 — Kujawsko-Pomorskie in Berlin: The Taste of Tradition and Diplomacy

It’s not often that a single Polish region represents the entire country at an international diplomatic event — yet Kujawsko-Pomorskie has been invited as the only Polish participant to the prestigious meeting of the spouses of military attachés from around the world, held on June 13 in Berlin.

During the event, we will present:

  • Tastings of regional specialties, carrying the flavor and history of our lands,
  • Craft workshops, showcasing the craftsmanship and heart of local artisans,
  • Elegant gifts, symbolizing the cultural identity of Kujawy and Pomorze.

The meeting is not only promotional — it is also a space for building relationships that can lead to future cultural, economic, and tourism cooperation. In this way, the Constellations of Good Places become not just a travel route but also a bridge of intercultural understanding.

June 14 — Family Picnic in Prague: Joy, Creativity, and Regional Flavors

The following day, Saturday, June 14, the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region will be one of the highlights of the Family Picnic for the Polish Community in the gardens of the Polish Embassy in Prague. The event, co-organized by the Polish Institute, the Polish Embassy, and the Polish Tourist Organization, will attract guests from around the world — tourists, local residents, the Polish community, and diplomats.

At the Kujawsko-Pomorskie stands, visitors will find:

  • Soap-making and educational workshops prepared by the City of Bydgoszcz — the Bydgoszcz Information Centre and the Museum of Soap and History of Dirt,
  • Colorful stories about faience presented by the Interactive Faience Centre “Faience Treasury,”
  • Tastings of “Krystyna” natural mineral water from the Ciechocinek Health Resort — ideal for both body and soul,
  • The flavors and inspirations of Toruń’s famous gingerbread presented by representatives of the city.

On stage, the band Rita Pax with Paulina Przybysz will perform their Tribute to Breakout project. Among the many stands, visitors will be able to enjoy Polish delicacies, participate in children’s activities, art workshops, and even mini Polish language lessons.

Constellations that Connect People

By participating in these two events, Kujawsko-Pomorskie shows that Constellations of Good Places is not just a story about the region — it’s an idea that radiates far beyond its borders. It’s an invitation to discover places with soul, people with passion, and stories that are meant to be shared.

In Berlin and Prague, Kujawy and Pomorze will become a symbol of hospitality, quality, and creativity.
