Kujawsko-Pomorskie on Bikes
This year’s 15th edition of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie on Bikes rallies kicked off on May 24 in Waganiec (Aleksandrów County). Registration is now open for the next event in the series, which will take place on Saturday (June 28) in Świecie nad Osą. Cycling enthusiasts will also have a chance to test their skills in Górzno (Świecie County) and Nakło nad Notecią.
“Residents of Kujawy and Pomorze are increasingly choosing cycling as their main form of active recreation. It’s a great way to discover the picturesque corners of our region, which is why I encourage entire families to join the rallies,” invites Marshal Piotr Całbecki.
Those interested in participating need to fill out registration forms available on the Kujawsko-Pomorskie on Bikes website. Each registered participant will receive a free starter pack, which includes a start number, a T-shirt, a voucher for a recovery meal, and a commemorative medal. The routes mainly run through scenic areas by lakes and forests. Contests with prizes are also planned for the cyclists.

Piast Cycling Rally in Gąsawa
The regional self-government regularly supports athletes and co-finances the organization of hundreds of events. We also invite you to take part in one of them – the Piast Cycling Rally, which kicks off this coming Saturday (June 14). Today (June 12) is the last day to register. The rally will start and finish at Leszek Biały Municipal Stadium in Gąsawa, from where we will embark on a journey through Żnin County, passing through Biskupin, Wenecja, Żnin, Piast Stronghold, and Chomiąża Szlachecka. During the ride, we’ll visit places connected to the Piast Trail, including the monument of Leszek Biały in Marcinkowo Górne. Details of the 42-kilometer route can be found on the event website, where the registration form is also available.
In 2026, Kujawsko-Pomorskie will host the most important indoor athletics event in the world – the World Athletics Indoor Championships.
