Kind People, Unique Microclimate
An interview with Director Adam Skowroński, head of the Przy Tężni Sanatorium in Inowrocław
Your facility consistently receives high praise from patients, who recommend your sanatorium as a place where one can truly relax and effectively restore health. What does it take to earn such a reputation?
I believe the key to our success lies in three fundamental values: care, quality, and consistency.

We treat each of our patients individually in every respect, because each person has their own story, their own needs and expectations. We make a conscious effort to listen to them carefully and tailor our approach to their specific health and emotional circumstances. We maintain high standards not only in terms of medical treatments, but also in the overall infrastructure of the sanatorium. We invest in modern equipment, continuously improve our staff’s qualifications, and ensure comfort throughout the stay—from the kitchen to cleanliness and interior aesthetics. It is important to us that each patient feels they are in a place truly conducive to recovery.
A good reputation doesn’t come from just one successful visit, but from the ongoing, consistent efforts of the entire sanatorium team. We know that earning patients’ trust takes years—but losing it can happen in a single day.
If you were to invite someone to the sanatorium in just a few words, what would you say?
Come visit us! Here, you will regain your health, strength, and peace of mind, surrounded by kind people, greenery, and a unique microclimate.

What are your current goals, plans, and ideas for the near future?
We are currently preparing for a major expansion of the reception area (estimated cost: 4 million PLN net) and the purchase of modern rehabilitation equipment (estimated cost: around 500,000 PLN net). Our plans also include purchasing land and building a multi-level parking structure with a soundproof screen (estimated investment: approximately 15 million PLN).
Our latest idea is the revitalization of the Inowrocław salt mine, with the intention of transforming it into a tourist and health resort attraction.
