INFORMATION PORTAL OF THE MARSHAL'S OFFICE OF THE KUJAWSKO-POMORSKIE Region IN TORUŃ

More than three hundred Kujawsko-Pomorskie voivodship athletes, coaches and sports activists were awarded prizes by the voivodship’s management for their successes last year. The awards gala, attended by Vice-Marshal Aneta Jędrzejewska and a member of the regional board, Marek Wojtkowski, was held today (12 May) at the Arena Toruń hall.

– I am proud that we have so many talented athletes in our region. I bow to your talent, commitment and perfectionism. I congratulate you on your excellent results and wish you further success,” said Marshal Piotr Całbecki.

This year, 304 athletes representing 61 clubs and associations received financial awards. The regional government also honoured 108 coaches and 45 sports activists.

Sports awards in numbers:

• the prize pool amounted to PLN 688 thousand
• athletes represent 61 clubs and associations
• 304 athletes, 108 coaches and 45 sports activists were awarded.
