We end the RDP on a high note | Województwo Kujawsko-Pomorskie

Contracts for co-financing from the Rural Development Programme and the National Reconstruction Plan for projects in the field of water and sewage management and the modernisation of local roads were received today at the Marshall’s Office by representatives of thirteen Kujawsko-Pomorskie rural municipalities. The meeting was attended by Marshal Piotr Całbecki, President of the Regional Parliament Elżbieta Piniewska, Vice-Marshal Aneta Jędrzejewska, member of the regional board Dariusz Kurzawa and Vice President of the regional parliament Przemysław Sznajdrowski.

– The almost 3 000 RDP projects implemented in our region are measures to improve the quality of life in rural areas. I am pleased that we are completing the implementation of the programme with a significantly increased pool of funds. We also have a signal that the Ministry of Agriculture is planning to provide us with RDP funds which other regions have not used, which means that we will be able to co-finance further projects from reserve lists,’ Marshal Piotr Całbecki said before the meeting with beneficiaries.

The total value of the contracts handed over today is 60 million zlotys – 9 million zlotys is money from RDP, the rest is KPO money dedicated to rural areas. The support just launched will be used for the construction and modernisation of water supply and sewage disposal systems, and the modernisation and extension of municipal roads.

The RDP contracts handed over today conclude the implementation of the 2014-2020 perspective programme in our region (the postponement of implementation is related to decisions at government and European Commission level). We started with an allocation of PLN 680 million, we are ending with a contracting of PLN 700 million (102 per cent of the allocation, 2,700 co-financing agreements), which means that we have managed to obtain additional funds and transfer support to many good projects from the reserve lists of announced co-financing competitions.
