The 18th Edition of “Rodzynki z pozarządówki”

In the Marshal’s competition “Rodzynki z pozarządówki,” we recognize the best projects carried out by third-sector institutions operating in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region. The prize pool amounts to 40,000 PLN. Applications are open until April 30. We encourage you to participate!

– “Non-governmental organizations operating in Kujawsko-Pomorskie are important partners for the regional self-government in nearly every area of social and economic life. We benefit from their knowledge and experience, which makes our joint initiatives more effective and efficient. The idea behind the ‘Rodzynki z pozarządówki’ competition is to support smaller organizations, mainly based on volunteer work, that implement interesting and innovative projects,” emphasizes Marshal Piotr Całbecki.

In the 18th edition of the contest, eligible participants include associations, foundations, sports clubs, rural women’s circles, fire brigades, as well as institutions of the Catholic Church and other churches and religious associations engaged in public benefit activities.

Contest participants must be:

  • the direct implementers of the submitted project (social initiative)
  • based and operating in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region
  • with annual revenues not exceeding 500,000 PLN

The prizes are monetary, with a total pool of 40,000 PLN this year. An additional special award from the Public Benefit Activity Council of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region amounts to 5,000 PLN.

Organizations that have received awards in the last three editions of the competition are not eligible to participate.

Competition applications should be sent to the following address:

Marshal’s Office of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region
Department of Social Affairs and Health – Office for Cooperation with Non-Governmental Organizations
Plac Teatralny 2, 87-100 Toruń
with the additional note “Rodzynki z pozarządówki Contest”

The deadline for submitting applications is April 30 (postmark date is decisive).

Last year, we awarded nine third-sector initiatives from among 29 submissions. The winners included, among others, the Serce Torunia Association, the “Nasza Ostoja” Association from Aleksandrów County, and the Inter-school People’s Student Sports Club Orlik Kcynia from Nakło County.

Each year, the Marshal’s Office supports projects implemented by non-governmental organizations in the areas of culture, sports, addiction prevention, social assistance, health care, tourism, work for people with disabilities, and the development of civil society. This year, the total funding exceeds 6.5 million PLN, allocated across 22 competitions.

Within the structure of the Marshal’s Office operates the Office for Cooperation with Non-Governmental Organizations. The Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region Council of NGOs and the Public Benefit Activity Council play an important advisory and consultative role.

It is tax declaration season. We encourage you to donate 1.5% of your income tax to a selected public benefit organization.
