
Marshal’s Awards – waiting for applications
Authors of the most valuable and outstanding projects in thirteen areas of public, social and economic activity have a chance to win prestigious distinctions, namely the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Marshal’s Awards. We are waiting for applications until 28 March.
– We are honouring the best of the best – individuals and teams whose activity, commitment and work do good and serve the development of the region. We are promoting creative, innovative ventures worthy of emulation on a regional, national and international scale, and above all creative and active attitudes,’ emphasises Marshal Piotr Całbecki.
The Marshal’s awards will be granted in the following fields:
- economy
- EU funds
- agriculture and rural development
- innovative methods applied in the development and promotion of cities and rural areas
- science, research, technical progress
- education
- culture
- health care
- sport
- environmental protection
- social activities and commitment to others
- building civil society
- promotion of the voivodship.
As part of the competition, we also award lifetime achievement prizes, as well as special mentions for new initiatives that are particularly important for the development of the region.
Applications may be submitted by natural and legal persons, organisations and institutions, economic entities and local governments.
Last year’s winners of the Marshal’s Awards included:
- Monika Przychodzka from Plebanek (Radziejów County), who produces and sells cheese, awarded in the agriculture and rural development category,
- Kamil Bosiacki, president of the Stiegelmeyer company, awarded in the environmental protection category,
- Tomasz Izajasz, curator of the Bydgoszcz Canal Museum, teacher at the 3rd High School in Bydgoszcz, awarded in the education category,
- Andrzej Wojciechowski, teacher at the Vocational Training Centre School Complex in Grubno, head of the school workshops and practical training, awarded in the education category,
- Major Dominik Sierzputowski, Kapellmeister of the Bydgoszcz Military Orchestra, awarded in the culture category.
