This is how European funds are changing Kujawsko-Pomorskie!
Sławomir Lewandowski (TVK Torun), Paulina Błaszkiewicz (Gazeta Wyborcza) and Monika Kaczyńska from the Polish Radio PiK won this year’s edition of the competition for journalists of local and regional media. Yesterday, Marshal Piotr Całbecki presented prizes and awards to the authors of the most interesting press, radio and television materials promoting EU funds.
– You write not only about EU projects, but first and foremost about the people they serve. In your materials, the opinions of residents are important, confirming European funds well invested. Without journalists and their work, no [free] [civil] society could function. I thank you for your work, and congratulate the winners and honorable mentions in the competition,” said Marshal Piotr Całbecki.
In the “press” category:
– First place – for Paulina Błaszkiewicz (from the Torun editorial office of Gazeta Wyborcza) for the article “Awakened. Kasia’s chewing gum clogged her airways, Przemek choked, Malgosia’s hemangioma burst.”,
– II place – for Jolanta Dołęgowska (portal: www.rypin-cry.pl) for the article “Life begins after sixty”,
– Third place – for Agnieszka Domka- Rybka (from Gazeta Pomorska) for the article “Whether you buy or give – you help. Such a store.”
Honorable mentions were awarded to:
– Joanna Dolecka of www.czaschlemna.pl for the article “You are more than you think. About the women of the Makowo Foundation”,
– Małgorzata Gołębiewska of www.rypin-cry.pl for the article “Space is calling us”,
– Weronika Polichnowska from the Dzień Dobry Toruń portal for the article “Toruń’s revolution in addiction treatment! New center opened – twice as big and ready to fight addictions!”,
– Agnieszka Waszkiewicz from www.czaschlemna.pl for the article “Previously we had nothing. Unisław firefighters moved from a garage to a 1.5 million zloty firehouse.”
– Daniel Wiśniewski of the Dzień Dobry Toruń portal for the article “Aleksandrów Kujawski waited 16 years. This is how EU support changed the city”,
– Dawid Tłuchowski, from the portal DD Włocławek for the article “You will already drive the new route. The PLN 20 million renovation is over”.
In the “radio” category:
– First place – for Monika Kaczyńska, from the Polish Radio PiK, for the material “Center in a big heart”;
– II place – for Michał Zaręba of the Polish Radio PiK for the material “Workshops in Gronów”.
– III place – for Iwona Muszytowska-Rzeszotek of the Polish Radio PiK for the interview of the day “CUS – a new quality from today in Lubicz” (about the recently opened Social Services Center);
– an honorable mention to Gustaw Nowak, from Meloradio, for the material “Digital Revolution for Patients” (about changes in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie health care system that are taking place thanks to the implementation of projects from European funds).
In the category “television/web TV”:
– 1st place – for Sławomir Lewandowski of TVK Torun for the program “Gustaw’s new life” (about a windmill in the vicinity of the Nadgoplański Landscape Park);
– II place – for Marta Nowicka-Bujak from TVK Torun for the program “Pharmacy ‘Under the Swan’ reactivation”,
– Third place – for Aleksandra Ciekot of TVP Bydgoszcz for the material “20 years in the EU”.
Honorable mentions were awarded to:
– Michał Górski of TVP Bydgoszcz for the material “EU support” (about signing contracts from EU funds),
– Błażej Karczmarczyk of TVP Bydgoszcz for the material “Window to the world – foreign internships as a chance for the first steps in the profession”,
– Mariusz Orłowski of TVK Toruń for the material “Toruń Space Labs open”;
– Olga Taraszka of TVP Bydgoszcz for the material “EU support”.
In this year’s seventh edition of the “European Funds for Kujawsko-Pomorskie” competition, we honored authors and authors of articles, broadcasts and programs who presented how European funds: the Regional Operational Program of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie voivodship for 2007-2013, the Regional Operational Program of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie voivodship for 2014-2020 and the Operational Program European Funds for Kujawsko-Pomorskie voivodship for 2021-2027 affect the development of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie voivodship.
The artistic setting of the Christmas meeting at the Dąmbski Palace was provided by Justyna Kacprzycka, Dominika Sell-Kukułka, Radosław Smużny, Agnieszka Płoszajska and Katarzyna Witkowska, actors from the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Musical Theater in Toruń, who sang, among others, pastorals from the play “A game worth gingerbread – or Maurycy and the carolers.”
