There was plenty happening across the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region over the weekend. We invite you to browse our photo report from selected events.

On Saturday (20 June), participants of the Piast Cycling Rally rode the route from Pakość to Kościelec as part of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region on Bicycles series. The event combined active recreation with the opportunity to explore the history of the Piast Route.

Also on Saturday, Mogilno hosted the 6th Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region Choir and Orchestra Competition for the Marshal’s Cup of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region, bringing together musical ensembles from across the region.

In Lubostroń (Żnin County), choirs competed on 20–21 June in the National Choral Competition and Festival “For the Golden Atlas Globe.” This year marked the first participation of an international ensemble: the Polish diaspora choir Verum Cantus from Belarus.

On 20 June, audiences at the Jordanki Cultural and Congress Centre in Toruń attended the Marek Wakarecy in Memoriam concert, which also marked the close of the Toruń Symphony Orchestra’s artistic season. The event included the inauguration of the 30th International Festival Nova Music and Architecture and the presentation of the TSO Muse Awards.

Residents and visitors of the Municipality of Papowo Biskupie (Chełmno County) celebrated the Municipal Festival on 20–21 June. The programme featured a historical and archaeological picnic held under the patronage of Marshal Piotr Całbecki.

On Sunday (21 June), families gathered at the Municipal Park of Culture in Łubianka (Toruń County) to celebrate Father’s Day during a community family festival.
