A celebration of the top students in Kujawsko-Pomorskie

More than 2,000 students from primary and secondary schools across the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region will receive educational scholarships this year, with a total value exceeding PLN 7 million. Today (1 June), Marshal Piotr Całbecki, Chair of the Regional Assembly Elżbieta Piniewska, and Member of the Regional Board Marek Wojtkowski met with the region’s highest-achieving students at the Aula of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. The presentation of commemorative statuettes and certificates was preceded by a lecture delivered by Marta Cartabia, the distinguished Italian jurist, legal reformer, academic lecturer and recipient of this year’s Nicolaus Copernicus Fides et Ratio Award.

Before the meeting, which was also attended by Regional Councillors Anna Niewiadomska, Katarzyna Stranz-Kaja and Sławomir Kopyść, flowers were laid at the plaque commemorating Saint John Paul II.
