Students, Apply for Scholarships!
The most hardworking and talented students in schools across the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region can receive up to PLN 5,000 in annual scholarships. The scholarships are awarded under three programmes run by the Marshal’s Office. The programme rules will be available from 31 August at kujawsko-pomorskie.pl/en, with information and application details available at edukacja.kujawsko-pomorskie.pl. The first applications can be submitted from 1 September.
“A good education is the key to a good future. The regional self-government places great importance on the quality of education and does everything it can to ensure that education-related costs do not place an excessive burden on family budgets, particularly those of less affluent households. We want talented young people to have the right conditions to make the most of their potential,” says Marshal Piotr Całbecki.
The Marshal’s educational scholarships are available to students attending schools in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region for 10 months of the school year, with annual awards of up to PLN 5,000. The amount awarded depends on the student’s position in the ranking and the type of school they attend.
The scholarship can be used to support educational development, including the purchase of books or a computer, participation in additional classes and competitions, internet access, travel to and from school, and accommodation costs.
Two of the scholarship programmes – Prymusi Pomorza i Kujaw II and Zawodowe Talenty Kujaw i Pomorza – are funded through the European Funds for Kujawsko-Pomorskie 2021–2027 regional programme. The third, Prymus Pomorza i Kujaw Plus, is financed from the regional budget.
Prymusi Pomorza i Kujaw II
The programme is aimed at students in grades 6–8 of primary schools, general secondary schools, grades 6–8 of first-level general music schools, second-level general music schools and schools of fine arts who have won or reached the finals of competitions and academic olympiads.
In the previous school year, 1,290 students received support.

Zawodowe Talenty Kujaw i Pomorza
This programme supports talented students in second and higher years of technical secondary schools and vocational schools, as well as students attending second-level stage schools in the region.
In the 2025/2026 school year, support was awarded to 520 students from across the region.

Prymus Pomorza i Kujaw Plus
This programme complements the Prymus Pomorza i Kujaw II project and is financed from the regional budget. It is aimed at students in grades 6–8 of primary schools and first-level general music schools, as well as students in all grades of general secondary schools, second-level general music schools and schools of fine arts, who have achieved outstanding results but did not receive a scholarship under the Prymus Pomorza i Kujaw II programme.
Applications for the next edition will open in the first quarter of 2027.
This year, scholarships were awarded to 222 students from primary and secondary schools across the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region.
