More Cycling Rallies Ahead
The next event on the calendar is the Piast Cycling Rally, which will take place on 20 June. The rally will start at 11:00 a.m. from the Tourist Information Centre in Pakość. Participants will cover an approximately 40-kilometre route through the picturesque landscapes of Kujawy, closely connected with the history of the Piast Route.
Preparations are also underway for the St. James Cycling Relay, which will be held on 25–26 July along the route Dobrzyń nad Wisłą – Dobre – Kruszwica – Mogilno. Detailed information regarding registration, the programme and event organisation will be announced by the organisers in the near future. Registration is already open for the remaining cycling rallies.
“Residents of Kujawy and Pomorze are increasingly choosing cycling as their preferred form of active leisure. It is an excellent way to discover the charming corners of our region. I encourage entire families to take part in the rallies,” says Marshal Piotr Całbecki.
The rallies are not only about sport and recreation but also provide an excellent opportunity to explore lesser-known parts of the region and spend time with family and friends. Before each rally, participants receive starter packs containing, among other things, a participant number, commemorative gadgets and information materials about the route.
