Today, the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region is hosting the Minister of Climate and Environment, Paulina Henning-Kloska. In Toruń, she is meeting with Marshal Piotr Całbecki, the management of the Regional Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, the city’s mayor Paweł Gulewski, as well as representatives of regional media.

The meetings focus on the government program Clean Air, which has been operating for several years and aims to reduce harmful environmental emissions from household heating systems. The Minister is presenting key changes to the program in Toruń that will increase access to funding and make the requirements for beneficiaries more realistic.

The visit program also includes, among others, a tour of the Forest School in Toruń’s Barbarka district and the planting of a commemorative tree.
