PR Crystals 2026 Awarded in Toruń – Achievements to Celebrate
Awards were presented for a promotional spot for the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Film Fund and the Copernican Library, and the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Musical Theatre received recognition – the gala of the PR Crystals 2026 competition has concluded in Toruń.
The Wednesday (11 March) gala was part of the three-day nationwide conference “20 Years of PR in Local Government and Administration”, co-hosted by the Kujawsko-Pomorskie regional government and the PRC Holding Group. The event gathered experts and public institution representatives, sharing experiences in building organizational image. The opening ceremony was attended by the Deputy Marshal of the Region, Zbigniew Ostrowski.
During the evening gala at the Copernicus Hotel in Toruń, the best communication projects, innovative campaigns, and initiatives carried out by local governments and public institutions across Poland were recognized.

The Marshal’s Office of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region received a distinction for the promotional spot “Scenes from Your Future Films”, highlighting the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Film Fund. The production showcases the region’s cinematic potential and encourages creators to produce their works in Kujawsko-Pomorskie while applying for support from the Fund.
The Copernican Library in Toruń, also funded by the Marshal’s Office, was recognized for the project “Crime Constellation Kujawsko-Pomorskie”, which includes meetings with stars of Polish crime literature, writing workshops, and discussion panels. This year’s edition begins on 26 March, and the winner of the Marshal’s award for Crime Debut of the Year will be announced on 25 April.
The Kujawsko-Pomorskie Musical Theatre in Toruń won the main award in the category “Best Promotion/Event of a Cultural Institution” for last year’s premiere of the musical “Jesus Christ Superstar”. Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s iconic musical about the last days of Christ’s life is now presented in a new adaptation at the Od Nowa Theatre in Toruń.
Conference Highlights
On Thursday (12 March), expert presentations focused on political marketing in local governments and organizing events that build a city’s brand.
The main topics for the final day (13 March) will include artificial intelligence in marketing, burnout in local government, and the role of a culture of psychological safety.
