Our commercial featuring Magdalena Czerwińska won first prize at the FilmAT Festival
The video promoting investment in the Kujawy and Pomorze Region received the top award at the 20th edition of the FilmAT Festival.
FilmAT is an International Festival of Tourist and Corporate Films aimed at showcasing the latest trends in documentary filmmaking, television reporting, tourism communication, corporate films, and institutional productions. The organizers support the development of both domestic and international productions and run separate competitions for Polish and international films.
Submitted productions are evaluated each year in three main categories:
- tourism communication
- documentaries and television reports
- corporate and institutional films
The international jury, chaired by renowned producer Zbigniew Żmudzki, has just announced the results of the jubilee 20th edition of the FilmAT Festival. In the corporate and institutional films category, first prize in the “informational film” section was awarded to the promotional spot of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region, encouraging investment in our region.
We invited Magdalena Czerwińska, a popular actress originally from Toruń, to take part in the two-minute film. In the video, she guides the film crew through our region, highlighting its strengths and locations that are ideal destinations for potential investors.
The actress has been associated for years with the Dramatic Theatre in Warsaw. She gained widespread recognition for her role as Ewa in the film The Mole (2010), and later portrayed the wife of Zbigniew Religa in Gods (2014). She has also appeared in numerous TV series, including The Behaviorist (2021), Klangor (2022), Infamy (2023), and Profilerka (2024). For her performances in Demakijaż and The Mole, she was nominated for the Zbigniew Cybulski Award, which honors outstanding young actors. In 2009, she received the “Flisak” award at the Tofifest International Film Festival in Toruń, presented to an independent artist associated with the Kujawy and Pomorze Region.
The award ceremony of the 20th edition of the FilmAT Festival will take place on March 26 at the Museum of Sport and Tourism in Warsaw, at the institution’s most prestigious exhibition – the “Wall of Fame of Polish Sport,” commemorating Poland’s most distinguished athletes and Olympic medalists.
