MocArty 2025 Awarded. Heroine of the Film Sponsored by Us Receives Special Prize

Agata Turkot received the special “Bo wARTo!” award for young creators of Polish cinema for her role in the film Dom dobry, which is partnered with the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region government.

MocArty is the annual award of the popular RMF Classic radio station. For the fourteenth time, the awards were presented on March 24 at the Polin Museum in Warsaw. Listeners chose the winners in four categories, while the jury selected the recipient of the special “Bo wARTo!” award for young, promising creators associated with Polish cinema. This distinction – €10,000 and a year of media support from RMF Classic – was awarded to Agata Turkot, who played Gosia, a victim of domestic violence, in Wojciech Smarzowski’s acclaimed film Dom dobry. The production is partnered with the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region government.

The winner was chosen from five young actors and actresses nominated by the RMF Classic editorial team, who stood out for their achievements in 2025. The jury included Agata Kulesza, Agnieszka Grochowska, Magdalena Juszczyk, Mirosław Baka, Piotr Domalewski, and Łukasz Maciejewski. “The ‘Bo wARTo!’ award was established during the second edition of the MocArty plebiscite. From the beginning, its aim has been to support young talents and draw attention to creators who are just starting their professional journey but already demonstrate artistic sensitivity and a distinctive body of work,” the RMF Classic editorial team reported.

Previous recipients of the special award include film music composer Bartosz Chajdecki, director Jan Komasa, actor Dawid Ogrodnik, screenwriter Tomasz Wasilewski, cinematographer Piotr Sobociński Jr., director Jan P. Matuszyński, actor Jakub Gierszał, actress Joanna Kulig, and cultural animator Beata Kwiecińska.

Agata Turkot graduated from the acting department of the Łódź Film School. Her credits include roles in TV series such as Na noże, Leśniczówka, Na dobre i na złe, and films including Wesele, Poskromienie złośnicy 2, czyli wiele hałasu o nic, and Przysięga Ireny. In January, she received the prestigious Zbyszek Cybulski Award for talented young actors.
