Young Artists Festival

Full of energy, passion, smiles and talent – these are the young artists who, starting today (28 May), will be showcasing their vocal, writing, dancing, artistic and sporting skills at the first European Festival of Young Creators, held on Wola Zamkowa Street in Toruń. The grand opening of the event, organised by the European Centre for Youth Cooperation, was attended by Marshal Piotr Całbecki and the President of the Regional Parliament, Elżbieta Piniewska.

 

‘The regional government is happy to support this event, which gives young people from our region the opportunity to present their work,’ said Marshal Piotr Całbecki at the official opening.

 

During the festival, young dancers, artists, singers, actors, hip-hop artists and athletes from our province will showcase their artistic skills.

 

During the inauguration, those who support young artists received awards.

The recipients were:

  • Michał Dąbkowski, director of the Prof. Stefan Banach High School No. 10 in Toruń
  • Anna Witkowska, physical education teacher at the School and Kindergarten Complex in Kikół
  • Imisława Bugeja, director of the International School of Bydgoszcz
  • Halina Peta, director of the Academy of Education – First Degree Vocational School in Inowrocław
  • Dariusz Chrobak, director of the School Complex in Czernikowo
  • Jan Myrcha, long-time teacher of uniformed services classes, educator, passionate about working with young people.

 

The European Festival of Young Artists in the vicinity of the Grossówna House on Wola Zamkowa Street will last until Friday (30 May).
