We vote on 1 June!
Town and municipal councils, farmers’ associations, voluntary fire brigades and village councils throughout the region have the chance to win prizes for their imaginative and, in the case of municipalities, effective campaigns to ensure that the region’s inhabitants go to the polls in large numbers in the second round of the presidential election (Sunday 1 June).
– Only by taking part in the elections can we have a real impact on the reality of the country and the place where we live, on the future of our families. See you at the polling stations on 1 June. Children celebrate, adults vote! – encourages Marshal Piotr Całbecki.
The prize for the best turnout (the highest turnout rate expressed as a percentage of those eligible to vote) in the category covering the five largest cities in the region (Bydgoszcz, Toruń, Włocławek, Grudziądz and Inowrocław) is PLN 150 thousand.
The remaining Kujawsko-Pomorskie cities and municipalities will compete in three separate categories (other urban municipalities, urban-rural municipalities and rural municipalities) for prizes of PLN 50,000. There are prizes for two local authorities in each category.
We recommend that this money be used to organise events to integrate communities.
We will award prizes separately for the best promotional campaigns:
- rural housewives’ associations
- voluntary fire brigades
- villages.
The winners in each category will receive prizes of PLN 10 000 each.
