We focus on safe cycling infrastructure

New bicycle paths are being built along regional roads. This is the result of cooperation and commitment from local governments, with whom we sign agreements to jointly implement investments.

“Each completed project brings us closer to creating a coherent network of pedestrian and cycling paths that allow safe cycling throughout the region. For this purpose, we are allocating over PLN 100 million from the European Funds for Kujawy and Pomorze for 2021–27,” says Marshal Piotr Całbecki.

Some projects are already underway. Nearly 20 kilometers of paths are being constructed along Regional Roads:

  • along road no. 244 connecting Aleksandrowo with Strzelce Górne in the municipality of Dobrcz, Bydgoszcz county, length 1.5 km
  • in Elgiszewo, municipality of Ciechocin (Golub-Dobrzyń county), length 2 km
