Vocational training at the highest level

Pharmaceutical technician, medical tutor, occupational therapist – training in these professions is only part of the offer of post-secondary schools in Toruń and Inowrocław, run by the regional government. The medical-social centres for vocational and continuing education recruit for faculties related to the dynamically developing medical-social sector.

The pass rate in state examinations testifies to the high level of both schools. I would like to thank the teaching staff for their commitment to the quality of education. I encourage you to get to know the offer of both institutions – said Marshal Piotr Całbecki during a recent visit to Toruń’s Medik.

The Toruń school offers training in the following fields:

  • pharmacy technician
  • electroradiology technician
  • occupational therapy
  • dental hygienist
  • dental technician
  • nursing assistant
  • beauty services technician
  • massage therapist
  • medical sterilisation technician
  • babysitter
  • podiatrist

The school management particularly recommends the electroradiology technician and podiatrist courses, responding to the growing demand for this type of specialist. This is an excellent opportunity for those wishing to start a career in this attractive and necessary sector.

In Inowrocław, recruitment is underway for the majors:

  • medical carer
  • babysitter
  • medical sterilisation technician
  • massage therapist
  • electroradiology technician
  • occupational therapist
  • beauty services technician.

Tuition at both schools is free of charge, and they are public establishments offering full-time and part-time training. Education lasts between one and 2.5 years, depending on the course chosen. The institutions cooperate with Polish and foreign companies, where trainees can gain experience in real working conditions.

Toruń’s medical school took first place in Toruń and third place in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie voivodship in the ‘School of the Year’ plebiscite.

Detailed information about the educational offer, recruitment rules and documents to download are available on the websites of both schools.
