To Kołobrzeg in Four Hours
We are adding a new direct train to the Baltic coast – to Kołobrzeg – to the timetable. It will run on weekdays (Monday to Friday) starting June 16. During the summer holidays, the offer will be expanded with a seasonal connection operated by the “Rybitwa” train on Saturdays and Sundays. This summer, we’ll also launch a new service from Inowrocław through Toruń to Jabłonowo Pomorskie. These new connections will benefit holidaymakers, workers, and students alike.
“We remain committed to public transportation,” emphasizes Marshal Piotr Całbecki. “We are responding to residents’ needs, launching new services, purchasing modern rolling stock, and upgrading infrastructure. Our goal is to ensure high standards and comfortable travel for passengers.”
The new train will depart from Bydgoszcz Główna station at 10:37 AM, arriving in Kołobrzeg at 2:32 PM. It will stop at all stations and rail stops along the route, allowing residents of smaller towns to make use of the connection.
To the Coast
Starting June 19, we’ll launch a new daily seasonal direct train to Hel. Thanks to cooperation with the regional self-governments of Zachodniopomorskie Region and Lubusz, a new direct “Barnim” train to Szczecin is already in service. In response to social demand and in collaboration with partners in neighboring regions, we’ve also launched direct trains to major hubs in seven Polish regions.
To Jabłonowo Pomorskie
In response to passenger requests, we will introduce a new morning train service from Inowrocław to Jabłonowo Pomorskie (Brodnica County) from June 15 until the end of the year. The train will depart at 4:50 AM, reach Toruń at 5:21 AM, and arrive in Jabłonowo Pomorskie at 6:15 AM. This connection will enable commuters to reach work in Toruń and serve employees disembarking at the Rychnowo Wielkie rail stop (Golub-Dobrzyń County). Students commuting to schools in Jabłonowo Pomorskie will also benefit from the service.
Trains operating under the new schedule will travel 300,000 kilometers more than in 2024, totaling 6.5 million kilometers.
In 2025, the Marshal’s Office will allocate 237 million PLN in subsidies for regional passenger transport. This amount includes compensation costs for Arriva and Polregio, as well as fees for access to railway infrastructure and station charges – totaling 31.3 million PLN.
