The Pola Negri Statuette for Eryk Kulm

The lead actor in the films “Bokser”, “Filip”, and the latest blockbuster “Chopin, Chopin” received the Marshal of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region Film Award named after Pola Negri during the 33rd edition of the Camerimage Festival. The statuette was presented to Eryk Kulm on Monday, 17 November, by Marshal Piotr Całbecki.

I congratulate you on your outstanding portrayal of Fryderyk Chopin — a composer with family ties to our region,” said Marshal Piotr Całbecki during the award ceremony.

One of the most expensive productions in the history of Polish cinema was financially supported by the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Marshal’s Film Fund.

This year, the fund also co-financed Wojtek Smarzowski’s acclaimed film “Dom dobry” and Piotr Wereśniak’s comedy “Piernikowe serce” (premiere coming soon).

The Marshal of the Region Film Award was also presented to Grażyna Szapołowska during the 33rd Camerimage Festival.

This year, the statuettes were awarded to: Anna Dymna, Daniel Olbrychski, Jan Englert, and Wojciech Smarzowski.
