The 14th Marshal’s Charity Ball

The Serce Torunia Association, the Trisomiaki Foundation from Łochowo (Bydgoszcz County), and the Special Educational Centre run by the Orionist Sisters in Włocławek are the main beneficiaries of the 14th Marshal’s Charity Ball, which will take place on January 17, 2026, at the Jordanki Cultural and Congress Centre in Toruń. During the previous edition of the event, a record-breaking PLN 860,000 was raised.

“Held every year, these balls are exceptional events during which we open our hearts to the needs of others. Every zloty is priceless and equally important, but what matters most to us are the smiles and the improvement in the living conditions of the people we help,” emphasizes Marshal Piotr Całbecki.

Beneficiaries of the 14th Marshal’s Charity Ball

  • The Serce Torunia Association supports people experiencing homelessness
  • The Trisomiaki Foundation supports 40 people with disabilities and their families through therapy, rehabilitation, and assistance in everyday life
  • The Special Educational Center of the Congregation of the Little Missionaries of Charity in Włocławek cares for young people requiring special education

Over the thirteen editions held so far, we have raised PLN 4 million, supporting twenty beneficiaries.

Last year’s 13th edition of the ball was also exceptional due to the generosity of participants, who auctioned a painting by Julian Fałat for PLN 220,000, a Murano glass sculpture for PLN 120,000, and one of the surprises (“a pig in a poke,” which turned out to be a block of butter) for PLN 30,000.

For several years now, works by participants of the Marshal’s art competition have also been auctioned. In 2024, one of the competition entries titled “A Goose in Space” was auctioned for PLN 20,000.

In addition to the three main beneficiaries, funds raised during the event will also be allocated to beneficiaries of previous editions of the ball.
