Support for People Affected by Domestic Violence

The Kujawsko-Pomorskie Blue Line operates under the free-of-charge telephone number 800 154 030. Legal and psychological consultants are available for in-person meetings in Toruń, and legal advice is also provided on designated days during monthly duty hours in six other cities across the region.

The Blue Line is staffed daily by a lawyer and a psychologist who provide assistance in matters related to domestic violence or family problems. Their support is available, among others, to people seeking advice on issues concerning the exercise of parental authority, arrangements for personal contact with a child, alimony, and problems related to addictions. Consultants are on duty every day, including non-working days, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The Kujawsko-Pomorskie Blue Line is supervised by the regional self-government, which – together with 139 municipalities – finances its operation.

Representatives of the Office for Family Support, Prevention of Violence and Addictions at the Marshal’s Office, who also provide assistance to victims, can be contacted by phone at 503 101 201. Detailed information is available at niebieskalinia.kujawsko-pomorskie.pl.

Legal consultants are on duty not only in Toruń. Once a month, meetings with specialists are available in Bydgoszcz, Włocławek, Grudziądz, Inowrocław, Brodnica, and Chełmno.
