Summary of the 14th Marshal’s Charity Ball

An impressive total of PLN 735,000 was raised during the 14th Marshal’s Charity Ball, held on January 17 at the Jordanki Cultural and Congress Center in Toruń. The largest portion of the funds will go to this year’s main beneficiaries: Association “Heart of Toruń”, Fundation Trisomiaki from Łochowo (Bydgoszcz County), and the Special Educational Center of the Sisters of the Little Missionaries of Mercy in Włocławek. The event was officially summarized today (March 16, 2026) by Marshal Piotr Całbecki.

The ball was record-breaking in many ways—not only in numbers but in the generosity of our guests. Once again, we have shown that we care for those in need,” said Marshal Piotr Całbecki.
I thank our beneficiaries for their daily service. I am glad we could support their exceptional work.”

Each year, the proceeds from the ball are allocated to support both the main beneficiaries and those from previous editions.

Main beneficiaries of the 14th Ball (each received PLN 90,000):

  • Stowarzyszenie Serce Torunia – helps people experiencing homelessness
  • Fundacja Trisomiaki – supports people with disabilities and their families through therapy, rehabilitation, and daily assistance
  • Special Educational Center of the Sisters of the Little Missionaries of Mercy in Włocławek – provides special education for youth

Planned use of funds: Fundacja Trisomiaki will organize a rehabilitation camp with social skills training and diagnostic tests in Łeba for 22 participants and 22 caregivers; the Sisters of Mercy will install safe flooring in the recreational area of their center; Stowarzyszenie Serce Torunia will purchase a vehicle for transporting people and delivering aid.

Support for 21 previous beneficiaries (each received PLN 23,000) included hospices, social welfare homes, educational centers, and humanitarian initiatives both in Poland and abroad (including Zambia and Africa).

Over 500 guests attended this year’s ball, including actors, athletes, politicians, and business representatives such as Katarzyna Figura, Ewa Kasprzyk, Cezary Łukaszewicz, Piotr Lisek, and Magdalena Fularczyk-Kozłowska.
