Summary 2024: Modern Education as the Key to Success

The strength of the region’s development lies in its residents: their knowledge, skills, and activity. We provide financial support to institutions, worthwhile initiatives, and young people who see education as a chance for personal growth and self-realization. The regional government’s actions in this field impact all educational facilities in the region.

A substantial funding package in our new operational program is dedicated to projects that support the development of young people. Last year alone, grant competitions announced by local action groups totaled over €2 million. These funds are earmarked for youth clubs, supporting activities such as organizing science workshops, sports programs, and enabling the development of skills and interests.

Education has always been and remains a priority for the regional government. We award scholarships to the best students, build modern educational facilities, and support the region’s flagship institutions in expanding research opportunities and enriching educational offerings,” says Marshal Piotr Całbecki.

To maximize potential, we provide scholarships of up to 5,000 PLN annually to students of all school types. In 2024, three educational programs benefitted 1,356 students: (he “Primates of Kujawsko-Pomorskie II”: 714 students, “Vocational Talents of Kujawy and Pomorze”: 520 students and “Primates of Kujawsko-Pomorskie Plus”: 122 students)
