Students, apply for scholarships!
The most hard-working and talented students of Kujawsko-Pomorskie schools can receive up to PLN 5,000. Annual scholarships are awarded under three marshal programmes. The summer holidays are a good time to prepare the necessary documents. The first applications can be submitted from 1 September.

The provincial government attaches great importance to the quality of education and does a lot to ensure that education-related expenses do not place an excessive burden on family budgets, especially those of less affluent families. The Marshal’s educational scholarships for students of schools located in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region are awarded for 10 months of a given school year (from 2,000 to 5,000 PLN per year), and their amount depends on the student’s position on the ranking list and the type of school they attend. The support can be used for educational development purposes, including the purchase of books, a computer, participation in additional classes and competitions, payment for internet access, travel to school and accommodation. Two scholarship projects (Top Students of Kujawsko-Pomorskie II and Vocational Talents of Kujawsko-Pomorskie) are financed from the regional programme European Funds for Kujawsko-Pomorskie 2021-2027, while the third (Top Student of Kujawsko-Pomorskie Plus) is financed from the provincial budget.
Top Students of Kujawsko-Pomorskie II
The project is aimed at students in grades VI-VIII of primary schools, general secondary schools, grades VI-VIII of general music schools of the first degree, general music schools of the second degree or secondary schools of fine arts, who are winners or finalists of competitions and Olympiads. The Marshal’s scholarships (ranging from PLN 300 to PLN 500 per month) will be awarded to 1,200 people.

Professional Talents of Kujawsko-Pomorskie
Support will be provided to talented students in the second and higher grades of technical schools, vocational schools and second-level trade schools in the region. Monthly support in this year’s edition of the programme will range from PLN 200 to PLN 500 and will go to 474 students.

Top Student of Kujawsko-Pomorskie Plus
The programme complements the ‘Top Student of Pomerania and Kujawy II’ project implemented on the basis of the province’s budget. It is addressed to students in grades VI-VIII of primary schools and general music schools of the first degree, as well as students of all grades of general secondary schools, general music schools of the second degree and secondary schools of fine arts who have achieved special results and have not received a scholarship under the Top Student of Pomerania and Kujawy II project. The call for applications for the next edition will start in the first quarter of 2026.
This year’s scholarships were awarded to 165 students from primary and secondary schools in Kujawsko-Pomorskie.
