
Statues for farmers at Agro-Tech fair in Minikowo
The forty-seventh edition of the Agro-Tech International Agro-Industrial Fair and the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Field Days in Minikowo (Nakło County) included lectures for breeders, a debate on the future of animal production, demonstrations of agricultural machinery and stands with interesting offers for farmers. The event, held under the honorary patronage of Marshal Piotr Całbecki, was attended by a member of the Regional Executive Board, Dariusz Kurzawa.
As part of the promotion of the region’s cultural and culinary heritage, at the stand of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region the Country Housewives’ Association from Białe (Świecie County) presented local cuisine dishes based on traditional recipes.
Marshal Piotr Całbecki awarded the best farmers of the regional stage of the XXII National Safe Farming Competition.
The statuettes were awarded to:
1st place – Bożena and Mirosław Łukaszewscy from Arciszewo (Włocławek County)
2nd place – Danuta and Czesław Grzybowscy from Gruczno (Świecie County)
3rd place – Maria Kroll-Makowska and Tomasz Makowski from Brzeźno (Aleksandrów County)
The Marshal Piotr Całbecki’s cup for the stand prepared for the fair went to the Stanlab Independent Research Laboratory from Bielawy (Nakło County).
The two-day event (5-6 July) with two hundred exhibitors attracted 20,000 visitors.
