Sessions of people with disabilities organized by the regional government are met with great interest every year. It’s an opportunity to talk about problems, exchange experiences, look for solutions together. On December 3 meeting with representatives of this community was attended by president of the regional parliament Elżbieta Piniewska, members of the voivodeship board Dariusz Kurzawa and Marek Wojtkowski, and voivodeship councilor Slawomir Kopyść.

– Sessions of people with disabilities are extremely important for building identity and community. The point is to meet, get to know each other and talk – important issues are raised not only in the hall during the session, but also behind the scenes, said president of the regional parliament Elżbieta Piniewska, who led the session.

The session was highlighted by a performance by Natalia Smogulecka, a graduate of the Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz, majoring in art education, singing teacher, participant in many concerts and music festivals, winner of many awards.

This year’s fourteenth session was organized in cooperation with the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Branch of PFRON and the Health Action Association.
