Regional parliament: vote of confidence and discharge of the regional government on Monday

This coming Monday (26 May), one of the most important sessions of the provincial assembly this year will take place, during which a vote of confidence and discharge for the regional government will be held. The debate will be based on two documents: a report on the state of the voivodeship and a report on the implementation of the budget for last year. Online transmission from 11 a.m. Agenda.

 

Later in the meeting, a report will be presented on the implementation of the annual and multi-annual programme of co-operation between the regional government and non-governmental organisations. The regional government commissions non-governmental organisations (by way of open tenders) to carry out public tasks in many areas, including culture, art, sport, social assistance and integration; support for children, young people, families and seniors; health protection and promotion; activities for people with disabilities.

 

The Regional Parliament will also deal, among other things, with the programme of care for historical monuments for 2025-2028 and appointments to the council of the Ethnographic Museum in Toruń and changes to the statute of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Heritage Center, as well as financial support for the local government of Toruń for the organisation of Toruń One-Actor Theatre Meetings and for the Żnińska Narrow Gauge Railway and the Wietrzychowice Cultural Park.
