Crystals of PR – we’ve got it!

The Crystals of PR Gala, part of the three-day nationwide conference ‘PR in local government and administration’, held this year in Toruń, is behind us. The Marshal’s Office of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie voivodship won the award for the best promotional film! On  March 11 meeting was attended by Marshal Piotr Całbecki and the President of the Regional Parliament, Elżbieta Piniewska.

Organised by PRC Holding Group in cooperation with the Kujawsko-Pomorskie voivodship, the conference brings together experts and representatives of public institutions to exchange experiences in image building. Zbigniew Ostrowski, Vice-Marshal of the Voivodeship, attended the opening of the event.

 

The first day of the event was marked by speeches by experts at the Centre for Contemporary Art. The inaugural lecture, ‘Constellations of good places’, was given by Beata Sawinska, president of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Tourist Organisation and director of the Marshal’s Office of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie voivodship. During the evening gala, the most creative projects, innovative campaigns and outstanding activities of local authorities were awarded.

in the category ‘Best creative promotional campaign’:

  • Marshal’s Office of the Mazovian Voivodeship in Warsaw – Mazowsze MA. Campaign
  • Municipality of Toruń – #KopernikDaVinci project

 

in the category ‘Best event/social event’ – Malopolskie Voivodeship – Malopolskie Days for Climate 2024

 

in the category ‘Best City Newspaper/Bulletin’ – Tychy Municipal Cultural Centre – Cultural Framework

 

in the category ‘Best promotion/event of a cultural institution’:

  • Wilam Horzyca Theatre in Toruń – Promotion of the 28th Contact International Theatre Festival
  • Zdzisław Arentowicz Municipal Public Library – Unconventional promotion of reading through the library music group The Bibliokers and a virtual avatar of Zdzisław Arentowicz.

 

Yesterday’s (12 March) expert presentations include effective information management in crisis situations and ways to engage the local community.

 

Among the main topics of tomorrow’s debates are the role of artificial intelligence in communication, the use of social media and building community engagement.
