Professionals with Regional Support
More than half a thousand students from technical schools and vocational schools will receive scholarships as part of the regional project “Vocational Talents of Kujawy and Pomorze”. Financial support will also be awarded to those excelling in science and humanities subjects – this year, over 1,600 top-performing students will be recognized.
– “We are committed to ensuring that talented young people have the conditions to fully realize their potential. The funds provided through the ‘Vocational Talents of Kujawy and Pomorze’ program will help educate specialists in various fields needed in the job market,” emphasizes Marshal Piotr Całbecki.
The scholarship project is implemented using European Union funds under the regional program European Funds for Kujawy and Pomorze 2021–2027. For the 2024/2025 school year, support will be granted to 520 students from the region. The scholarships range from 200 to 500 PLN per month. The funding can be used for educational development purposes, such as purchasing books, a computer, participating in additional classes and competitions, paying for internet access, commuting to school, or accommodation costs.
Among the schools with the highest number of scholarship recipients are the following:
- School Complex in Mogilno,
- Ignacy Łyskowski School Complex and Vocational Training Center in Grubno (Chełmno County),
- School Complex in Kowalewo Pomorskie (Golub-Dobrzyń County),
- School Complex No. 2 in Golub-Dobrzyń,
- Vocational and Continuing Education Center in Brodnica,
- School Complex and Continuing Education Center in Gronowo (Toruń County).
“Vocational Talents of Kujawy and Pomorze” in Numbers:
- Scholarships awarded: 520 young individuals
- 420 technical school students
- 100 vocational school students
- Scholarship value: 200–500 PLN per month
- Duration of scholarship: 10 months
Last year, 1,200 top-performing students received scholarships.
