
Prizes in the profrequency competition
Toruń, Ciechocinek and Brodnica, as well as the municipality of Solec Kujawski, the municipality of Nakło nad Notecią, the municipality of Osielsko and the municipality of Białe Błota are the winners of our electoral pro-frequency competition. It was there that the residents went to the polls in the second round of the presidential election in the largest numbers. The highest turnout (nearly 83 per cent) was recorded in the municipality of Osielsko near Bydgoszcz, the richest in Kujawsko-Pomorskie and one of the richest in the country.
Winners of the competitions in individual categories:
- the largest city in the region: Toruń (with 74.70 per cent turnout)
- other urban municipalities: Ciechocinek (78.96 per cent) and Brodnica (68.62 per cent)
- urban-rural municipalities: Solec Kujawski (69.59 per cent) and Nakło nad Notecią (68.17 per cent)
- rural municipalities: Osielsko (82.70 per cent) and Białe Błota (78.54 per cent).
The prize for Toruń is PLN 150 000, the rest of the winning local authorities will receive PLN 50 000 each from the regional government budget. We recommend that this money is used to organise events to integrate local communities.
Separately, for the most interesting promotional campaigns, prizes will be awarded to Country Housewives’ Associations, voluntary fire brigades and villages. The best in each of these categories will receive PLN 10 000. The award ceremony will take place soon.
