Objective: youth development
PLN 70 million from the Marshal’s civic budget will go to projects targeting children and young people in Kujawsko-Pomorskie. The grants will be awarded through local action groups. The launch of the first call for applications was announced today (December 18) by Marshal Piotr Całbecki.
– A large bundle of funds in our new operational program includes money for projects supporting the development of young people. Grant competitions announced by local action groups this year alone amount to more than €2 million. This is money that will go, among other things, to the organization of scientific workshops, sports activities, enable the development of skills and interests, so I strongly encourage you to submit your initiatives in the local action group,” stressed Marshal Piotr Całbecki during a meeting with young people at the 10th High School in Toruń. – You are the future of our region. We are committed to creating a space that will meet your expectations and needs and inspire further development.
The projects that can be funded relate to supporting young people in their personal development beyond the standard education within the school system.
Funding is provided for three types of such projects:
- creation and operation of educational youth clubs (with activities that take into account the interests, abilities and personal needs of young people. e.g. artistic, sports, IT, on local culture and identity);
- development of talents and improvement of skills leading to the achievement of a specific educational goal (e.g. preparation for participation in a scientific competition);
- projects on acquiring skills useful in the choice of educational paths and future professional life (e.g., workshops on disappearing professions and traditions of the region).
The maximum level of funding under our regional program European Funds for Kujawsko-Pomorskie 2021-2027 is 95 percent of the value of the project, the maximum grant is PLN 100 thousand.
Grant competitions in this segment have launched or will launch later this month 11 local action groups:
