New Year’s Eve with Polsat in Toruń

The televised Sylwestrowa Moc Przebojów (New Year’s Power of Hits) event, broadcast by Polsat on December 31, will gather thousands of people at Toruń’s Old Town Square and millions of viewers in front of their TVs. On Tuesday, December 17, Marshal Piotr Całbecki and Toruń Mayor Paweł Gulewski shared details of the event, co-organized by the Regional Self-Government, during a press briefing with media representatives.

 

“I want to thank everyone involved in organizing this event. I am convinced it will be an excellent opportunity to promote the region, and the invited artists will ensure great entertainment.” said Marshal Piotr Całbecki.

 

An incredible atmosphere and great entertainment during Polsat’s Sylwestrowa Moc Przebojów will be provided by stars of Polish pop music, including Maryla Rodowicz, Kayah, Golec uOrkiestra, Enej, Zakopower, and Zenek Martyniuk. These artists will perform on a massive stage that has been under construction at the Old Town Square for several days.

 

The Regional Self-Government is financing six additional New Year’s Eve train services to bring concert attendees home on the night of January 1. Special trains operated by Arriva RP and Polregio will wait at all railway stations in Toruń and transport passengers to 73 destinations across Kujawy and Pomorze.

 

The trains will depart from Toruń Wschodni, Toruń Miasto, and Toruń Główny stations to the following destinations: Nakło nad Notecią, Tuchola, Mogilno, Jabłonowo Pomorskie, Skępe (Lipno County), and Kaliska Kujawskie (Włocławek County).

 

Detailed train schedule:

  • Toruń Wschodni – Nakło nad Notecią via Bydgoszcz: departs at 1:00 AM
  • Toruń Wschodni – Mogilno via Inowrocław: departs at 1:35 AM
  • Toruń Wschodni – Kaliska Kujawskie via Włocławek: departs at 1:15 AM
  • Toruń Główny – Jabłonowo Pomorskie via Wąbrzeźno: departs at 1:35 AM
  • Toruń Główny – Tuchola via Grudziądz: departs at 12:58 AM
  • Toruń Główny – Skępe via Lipno: departs at 1:18 AM

 

Ticket prices will remain the same as regular train fares.
