New EFKP Agreements – Projects Awaited by Local Communities
The regional government will take over the palace and park complex in Brąchnówko, in Toruń During today’s (April 8) ceremony for awarding project co-financing agreements under our regional programme European Funds for Kujawy and Pomorze (EFKP), we finalized the implementation of 41 projects carried out by 23 local government entities. The total value of the agreements amounts to PLN 68.5 million. The beneficiaries met with Marshal Piotr Całbecki, Vice-Marshal Aneta Jędrzejewska, and Member of the Regional Board Dariusz Kurzawa.
“We have quite a number of socially oriented projects this time, as well as investments in social infrastructure—visible projects that residents have been waiting for. We are gradually moving away from sewage and basic infrastructure projects toward initiatives of this kind. As for the progress of the regional programme, we rank second in the country in terms of contracted funds and sixth in certification—this is a good result,” said Marshal Piotr Całbecki while welcoming the participants.
The city of Inowrocław is embarking on the modernization of the stage facilities of the Municipal Theatre, one of the city’s most important cultural institutions. The project includes stage automation (purchase and installation), as well as new sound and lighting systems and projection screens. The grant amounts to PLN 4 million, with the total investment cost at PLN 4.3 million.
