New Bus Station in Mogilno
For 5.5 million złoty, a new bus station will be built in Mogilno, featuring covered platforms, a parking area for passenger cars, and dedicated zones for passengers and staff. The investment, carried out by the Marshal’s Office company Kujawsko-Pomorski Transport Samochodowy (KPTS), is scheduled for completion in December 2027. Last year, KPTS opened a bus depot and a bus washing facility in Mogilno. A similar facility will also be built in Rypin.
“Investments in the development of public transport are our priority. We are systematically building a network of rail and bus connections and raising the standard of public transport services. As part of this policy, we will build a bus station in Mogilno,” emphasized Marshal Piotr Całbecki.
As part of the project, charging stations for electric buses will also be installed.
The investment in Mogilno has been divided into several stages. In the first stage, after the contractor is selected, surfaces and underground infrastructure will be constructed.
The construction cost, which will be financed by KPTS, amounts to 5.5 million złoty.
The regional government consistently invests in modern infrastructure and bus fleets.
The region has purchased forty modern, environmentally friendly and comfortable buses (15 hybrid and 25 electric) for servicing routes at a cost of 125 million złoty. Of this amount, 91 million złoty was obtained from the National Recovery Plan (KPO).
To support the operation of the new electric fleet, new charging stations are being built across the region.

The regional government is also the organiser of rail connections in the region. Expenditure on rail transport in 2026 will reach a record 267 million złoty. This amount includes fees for access to railway infrastructure and station charges, totalling 37 million złoty.
At the request of the regional government, PKP PLK has built and modernised railway infrastructure, adapting it to the changing settlement network in the region.
