‘My Father – Good to Be Together’ for the tenth time
On Monday (16 June), seven students and six teachers received awards in the literary competition ‘My father – it’s good to be together’ organised by the Marshal’s Office of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship (UMWKP). In 120 entries, participants not only described playing together, fishing trips and learning to ride a bike, but also emphasised how important the presence of their fathers is in their lives.
The tenth edition of the ‘My Father – It’s Good to Be Together’ competition received 105 entries from 50 primary schools and 15 entries from 10 secondary schools.
The entries were judged by representatives of the Marshal’s Office – Milena Skopińska (chair of the competition committee), Jacek Habant, Dorota Piekarek and Andrzej Drozdowski, as well as Sławomir Koniczyński from the Board of Education in Bydgoszcz and Ewa Kondrat from the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Teacher Education Centre in Toruń.
The committee awarded six main prizes and one distinction to the students and their teachers.
The prize pool for the competition was PLN 5,200.
