Students and residents of Bydgoszcz can now enjoy a four-lane athletics track, a full-size football pitch, indoor tennis courts, and a sports shooting range thanks to the latest completed investment at the Academic Sports Center of the Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology. The opening ceremony of this part of the complex was combined with the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the University Club of the Academic Sports Association at PBŚ. The event was attended by Dariusz Kurzawa, a Member of the Regional Executive Board.

The expansion of the sports facilities at the Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology was divided into two stages. In October, the first part of the sports complex was made available: a multifunctional hall featuring futsal, volleyball, and basketball courts, as well as gyms and a climbing wall.

The newly completed investment includes outdoor athletic infrastructure: a four-lane, 400-meter running track, a shot put area, and high jump and long jump facilities. Additionally, it features a full-size football field with seating for 200 spectators, a basketball court, two beach volleyball courts, and a multifunctional building housing two year-round tennis courts, a sports shooting range, and a gymnasium.

The project received financial support from the regional self-government.
