Kujawsko-Pomorskie Innovation Forum in Toruń

The three-day international Kujawsko-Pomorskie Forum of Innovation, Science, Business, and Local Government (November 5–7) has begun. This prestigious scientific conference is devoted to new technologies, innovations, inventions, and pioneering investments that shape the development of Poland and the region based on so-called smart specializations. During the opening gala, Marshal Piotr Całbecki presented the Czochralski Monocrystal awards.

The key to regional development lies above all in open minds, the ability to harness potential, and the cooperation and engagement of representatives of science, business, and local government, emphasized Piotr Całbecki, Marshal of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship. – I am convinced that the discussions held among such an elite group will serve as an opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences, as well as an inspiration to seek new solutions and actions that strengthen collaboration between business and science.

The Czochralski Monocrystals – awards granted by the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Science and Technology Center – are presented to individuals and institutions for outstanding contributions to research development, technology transfer, and the promotion of cooperation between academia and industry.
