Kujawsko-Pomorskie Education Leader – Applications Open Until September 5
They support children and youth in developing their passions, they are creative and dedicated, and they know how to motivate students – the best teachers. The “Kujawsko-Pomorskie Education Leader” competition is dedicated to them. Applications are open until September 5. The award gala will take place during the provincial celebration of National Education Day.
– We want those who bear the responsibility for what our children take away from school to model themselves on the very best in the profession. Teachers who uphold the highest standards, have significant professional achievements, introduce original ideas and innovative methods into schools, share their experience with others, are active in their communities, and inspire young people to follow their example – these are the ones we want to highlight as role models, – emphasizes Marshal Piotr Całbecki.
Candidates may be nominated by school operators or other educational institutions, their directors, trade unions, associations, and non-governmental organizations. The competition jury, appointed by the Marshal of the Region, will select eighteen outstanding educators from the past school year. From this group, the Marshal himself will choose the best of the best – the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Education Leader. The title comes with a commemorative statuette. The remaining seventeen educators will receive equal distinctions, and all eighteen will be awarded financial prizes.
Last year, the title of Kujawsko-Pomorskie Education Leader was awarded to Grażyna Ruta-Balińska, a teacher and librarian at the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Pedagogical Library in Bydgoszcz.
