Kujawsko-Pomorskie at the Food Fair in Berlin

For the 31st time, we are promoting our agriculture and food processing at the annual Grüne Woche international food fair (January 17–26), the largest event of its kind, where exhibitors from all over the world showcase their offerings in the German capital. The event is combined with the Global Forum for Food and Agriculture. The Regional Self-Government is represented by Dariusz Kurzawa, a member of the Regional Executive Board.

At our region’s stand (Hall 11.2, Stand No. 108, covering 96 square meters), we are presenting traditional and regional products (including high-quality cured meats, goose meat, and fish), along with promotional materials highlighting the tourist, natural, and cultural attractions, as well as the economic potential of Kujawy and Pomorze.

Exhibitors at the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Stand:

  • Kwiecińscy Meat Processing Plant
  • Polish White Goose Breeders Foundation
  • “Przy Kominku” Inn by Katarzyna Raniszewska
  • Władysławowo Butchery (R.B.A. Zawistowski)
  • Ol-Mat Family Fish Processing Workshop from Kruszwica

Alongside exhibitions, tastings, and culinary demonstrations in Berlin, numerous seminars and conferences on agricultural and economic topics are planned. Direct business meetings organized by Enterprise Europe Network centers will also take place.

The Global Forum on Food and Agriculture, dedicated to key issues in the food sector, will be held during the fair, organized by Germany’s Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture.

This year, the Regional Self-Government’s expenditures on promoting the achievements of Kujawsko-Pomorskie agriculture are planned at 1.4 million PLN.
