Kujawsko-Pomorskie as a Film Region – Contest for the Best Thesis
Marshal Piotr Całbecki invites students and graduates of higher education institutions to participate in an exceptional competition. The main theme is the cinematic potential of our region – its creators, locations, and productions that have been made in Kujawy and Pomorze. Details and competition regulations.
– This is a unique initiative that combines science with promoting our region as a place full of inspiration for filmmakers. Kujawy and Pomorze are not only beautiful landscapes and architecture, but also a rich heritage of the Seventh Art, which includes both outstanding creators associated with the region and unforgettable film productions made in this area. We want this competition to be an opportunity to discover and highlight the cinematic potential of the region and to inspire future generations of students and young researchers to delve into this subject – emphasizes Marshal Piotr Całbecki.
The competition is aimed at authors of bachelor’s and master’s theses defended in the 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 academic years. The participants’ task is to explore and describe the cinematic connections of Kujawy and Pomorze – a region full of beautiful landscapes, unique places, and a rich cinematic heritage.
We want this competition to be an opportunity to discover and emphasize the film potential of Kujawy and Pomorze, as well as to inspire future generations of students and young researchers to delve into this subject.
The winners will receive attractive prizes and the opportunity to promote their work in the public space.
